We'll miss John Stape when he's gone, so now's the time to make the most of him. He's an all rounder - Stan Laurel look-a-like, serial killer, and citer of English literature quotations at, depending on your point of view, the most inopportune or relevant moments. Quoting 'ill met by moonlight' while dumping the corpse of Colin Fishwick is a case in point. Here's hoping he just gets carted off for a while and makes perennial comebacks, but I can't help thinking his time is up and the black cab of doom awaits. If only he could bump of a few others before his departure, such as Becky, Tracey, Tommy and Becky's horrible sister.
I have it on the authority of Pat Riley that Mr.John Stape is now acting on stage at the Limerick theatre, Republic of Ireland, for consecutive performances in 'Death in Venice', Macbeth (the man himself) and Goodbye Mr. Chips(he finally gets to teach in this performance). With a few guiness down him, he'll be back!!
