So who survives the death crash? If it really is four funerals and a wedding as the trailer keeps telling us, then I'm guessing Leanne and Peter still get married, ergo he survives.
For the four funerals, I wonder if Charlotte counts as one of the killed in action after John Stape hammered home the point that he doesn't want to be her boyfriend. Hammered home right into her skull of course. Here's hoping he manages to slip the body out of the house and into the wreckage of The Joinery before anyone notices. This isn't just for poor Fiz's sake but for all English teachers prone to an overactive imagination and murderous tendencies. I suppose it might be difficult to explain how Charlotte ended up at Peter's stag do, but I have great faith in John.
Three more corpses then: I take it young Max isn't long for this world going by the way he keeps nipping out at midnight for a bag of goodies. Molly and baby Jack didn't look too well last time we saw them so hopefully that's the body bag count sorted.
